1. The service

AIchef.food generates recipe suggestions using automated systems, including AI models (“Malcolm AI”) and a curated recipe library. Suggestions are for general guidance only.

2. Food safety & allergies

You are responsible for safe food handling and for checking all ingredient labels for allergens. Allergen tags and nutrition figures are estimates and may be incomplete. If you or anyone you cook for has a severe allergy, verify every ingredient independently. Children should be supervised in the kitchen.

3. Accounts

You must be 18+ to hold an account and pay for a subscription. Keep your password secure.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans renew monthly or annually (as chosen at checkout) until cancelled via the billing portal: Chef de Partie £4.99/month or £49/year, Head Chef £7.99/month or £79/year, Gastronomique £11.99/month or £119/year (up to 5 household members), Restauranteur £29/month or £290/year (single professional user; includes everything in Head Chef plus the restaurant tools), and the AIchef.food Magazine add-on £3.49/month or £34.90/year (included with Head Chef, Gastronomique and Restauranteur). Commis Chef is free. New accounts receive a free 7-day Head Chef trial with no card required; when it ends the account moves to Commis Chef unless you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe. Gift memberships

Gift memberships are prepaid one-off purchases of a plan for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months; they never renew and no card is needed to redeem. Each gift code is single-use and must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase, after which it expires. The gift term starts on redemption; if the recipient already pays for a subscription, a membership gift is queued and starts when that subscription ends, and a gift of the same plan extends an existing gift. Gifts are non-refundable once redeemed; an unredeemed gift may be refunded to the buyer on request within 14 days of purchase. Keep codes private — anyone holding a code can redeem it. Gifts cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Acceptable use

No automated scraping, abuse, or attempts to circumvent usage limits or security.

6. Intellectual property

Restauranteur uploads & linked websites

Restauranteur members may link public websites (their own or benchmarks such as competitors) and upload sample menus and cookbooks. You confirm you own any uploaded book or have the right to use it for private reference. Uploads stay private to your account and are never shared, published or used for other users. Malcolm uses benchmarks and cookbooks only for inspiration and comparison (style, techniques, pairings, structure and themes) and does not reproduce their recipes, menus or text. You can delete uploads at any time.

7. Liability
